Received over $8.1M in grants

Since our founding, King of Prussia District has been awarded $8.1M in local, state and federal grant funding for transportation projects, the First Avenue Linear Park and Road Diet and the Moore Road Multimodal Trail.

Rewrote outdated zoning codes

King of Prussia District worked with UMT to rewrite the outdated zoning code and subdivision and land development ordinance to create a code that will lead to a more active district where people can live, work and play. The new mixed-use King of Prussia business park zoning promotes institutional quality, mixed-use development.

Established signature events for the organization

King of Prussia District produces King of Prussia Restaurant Week & KOP Shops for CHOP, First Responders Appreciation Week, KOP Takes Out Hunger Food Drive & Igloo Garden on the Green, a Business Networking series and several additional pop-ups and activations. Past events include our award winning KOP Beerfest Royale, Rock your Lunch Summer Concert Series, Food Truck Tuesdays, KOP Wellness Week and Yoga Happy Hour.

KOP District Initiative

2024 Montgomery Award

Awarded for the First Avenue Linear Park and Road Diet. This ‘complete streets’ project has made Moore Park in King of Prussia safer and more accessible for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
