Wayfinding in Renaissance Park
Everyday, commuters travel East Church Road, Horizon Drive, Renaissance Boulevard and Swedeland Road without even realizing that an incredible roster of businesses representing various industrial sectors are just a stone’s throw away in Renaissance Park. For those visiting these businesses, navigating this nondescript office park landscape can be a challenge, as wayfinding signage is lacking.
A solution to this issue is on the way, after a successful stakeholder engagement process identified the lack of signage and placemaking features. As a result, King of Prussia District engaged D2 Branding to develop an exterior wayfinding and signage master plan for Renaissance Park. D2 will review existing signage on buildings, gateways and transportation networks throughout the office park to determine what works and identify gaps in order to make navigating the park more commuter-friendly. This information will allow for a comprehensive wayfinding system designed to interact with drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians alike. The placemaking opportunity will communicate the remarkable portfolio of tenants and commercial space to the public as it evolves in Renaissance Park.
