The BIG Way We’re Celebrating 10 Years in #KOP!
As you may have heard, King of Prussia District is celebrating ten years of working alongside stakeholders and partners to rebuild KOP’s reputation as one of Pennsylvania’s premier live-work-play communities. We see this milestone as one that belongs to the entire community, as it is only through our collaborative efforts that we can impact this change. When we started to brainstorm ways to celebrate this anniversary, we knew we needed to involve the entire community in a fun and engaging way and we knew that we needed to “go big.” And go BIG we did…
Standing at a majestic 7 feet tall and 24 feet long, #KOP is a mobile installation that King of Prussia District will bring to community events, ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings and, of course, our own events throughout the year.
The “Insta-worthy” letters were fabricated by Big Apple Props in Brooklyn, NY and were revealed on Friday, January 30 at the Kick-off Party for KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP, our dining and retail event scheduled for March 9-15 to benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
During the event, we also announced our #KOP Social Media contest! Take a selfie or get a group of friends together for a photo with the installation and post it on Facebook or Instagram, along with the hashtag #KOP and tag King of Prussia District. You will automatically be entered into a random, monthly drawing of one $100 Visa gift card and one $50 Visa gift card. After a dramatic unveiling, the crowd gathered around for photos of the interactive, giant letters, and quickly took to social media to share and enter to win.
Stay tuned to our social media accounts to see where #KOP will be each month so that you can join in the fun too!
