Eric was named founding Executive Director of the King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) in January 2011. Eric oversees all aspects of the organization’s five program areas that include Physical Improvements, Marketing & Communications, Tax Policy, Land Use & Zoning, and Transportation. Eric is an expert in planning and place-making, an energetic cheerleader for re-imagining and repositioning communities, and a highly successful fund-raiser, having raised more than $6M in his first four years at KOP-BID.
Prior to joining KOP-BID, Eric served as Vice President of Development a residential real estate firm in NJ from 2004-2010 and was the Director of Capital Programs and then Executive Director of the University City District business improvement district in Philadelphia from 1998-2004. Eric has also worked for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and WRT in Philadelphia. Eric is a past recipient of the prestigious Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty award and is a graduate of the Leadership Philadelphia program. Currently, Eric serves on the Board of Directors for the International Downtown Association in Washington DC, and sits on a number of planning and organizational committees in Montgomery County, PA. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning & Design from Rutgers University (’91) and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Kansas State University (’95). Eric is a licensed Landscape Architect in NJ and PA and holds a Professional Planners license in NJ.
Eric lives with his wife and two children in Moorestown, NJ. He loves the fact that he can make himself look good by writing his own bio and generally considers himself to be a pretty good guy!!
