Children will be able to ride mini Mercedes-Benz cars at the King of Prussia mall Wednesday, as part of the company’s first “Lil Benz Dealership” pop up store, according to a news release.
“Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is celebrating the holidays with its first-ever, kid-sized dealership,” the company said in a news release.
The event from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. will include models of the SMS AMG, G65 AMG (G-Wagon), CLA45, among others. The event will include opportunities for children to get mini drivers’ licenses, test-drive the models throughout the pop up location and use coloring book driver manuals.
Customers can buy accessories like hats, bags and shirts at the pop up but no Mercedes-Benz vehicles will be in the store, according to Mark Aikman, the company’s general manager of marketing and digital customer experience. If customers want to buy the small cars for kids, they can purchase them online and shoppers can receive links and discount certificates for those vehicles at the store.
