Nan Xiang first opened its doors in Flushing, New York in 2006 and gained popularity among food lovers and critics alike. A top destination for soup dumplings in the region, Nan Xiang has secured a Michelin Guide recommendation for Shanghainese food for 9 consecutive years.
The King of Prussia location serves its legendary Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings as well as Crispy Pan-Fried Pork Buns, Shanghainese Dim Sum, Stir-Fried Noodles, Stir-Fried Rice Cakes, Scallion Pancakes and Steamed Ginseng Chicken Soup. Also highlighted on the menu are the Truffle Soup Dumplings, Crispy Turnip Puffs, Shanghai Siu Mai, “Lucky-Six” Soup Dumplings and other seasonal specials.
Drawing inspiration from the thousand-year-old Nan Xiang Town just outside of Shanghai, the restaurant’s design blends traditional elements with a modern touch. The interior reflects the canal town’s natural landscape, incorporating textures and colors that evoke a sense of nostalgia and authenticity.
