Salad has officially entered its main character era.

Just Salad is now open in King of Prussia, bringing its fast-casual, plant-centric menu to a location at 129 South Gulph Road. Founded in 2006, the chain has grown to more than 125 locations across the East Coast and Midwest, built on the idea that eating well and eating sustainably shouldn’t be two separate decisions.

Just Salad runs the largest reusable bowl program of any restaurant chain in the world. Bring back a reusable bowl and you get a free topping, a small incentive that’s kept an enormous amount of single-use packaging out of landfills over the years. The brand backs that up elsewhere too, holding B Corp certification and claiming the title of first US restaurant chain to add carbon labels to its menu, alongside a dedicated Climatarian category for the lower-impact options.

The menu itself includes more than “just salad”, with wraps, warm bowls, market plates, soups and smoothies in addition to 15 chef-designed salads. Rotating seasonal picks are frequently mixed in alongside the regular menu options. Everything starts with produce prepped daily and dressings made in house, nothing pre-bottled.
