Now Open: Cunningham Piano Company
Practice makes perfect, and the practice room just got a serious upgrade.
Cunningham Piano Company is now open in King of Prussia, bringing piano sales, restoration, music lessons and live performances together in a 15,000-square-foot space built for musicians of every level.
The showroom features everything from traditional acoustic pianos to some of the most technologically advanced instruments around. The Yamaha Experience Room lets guests get hands-on with the Disklavier, an acoustic piano that can record and play back performances with remarkable precision, along with Yamaha’s Clavinova digital pianos. Five private instruction rooms offer piano, strings and voice lessons, and a 150-seat performance center will host concerts, recitals, master classes and community events. Cunningham’s renowned restoration team is on site too, giving older instruments a new life.
Cunningham Piano Company was founded in 1891 by Irish immigrant Patrick J. Cunningham and has grown into one of the most respected piano restoration and sales companies in the country. The new King of Prussia location brings together its former retail showroom and its Germantown restoration factory, and the company hopes it becomes a gathering place for the region’s music community, whether or not you’re in the market for a piano.
You’ll find Cunningham Piano Company at 450 S. Henderson Road. Come for the music and stay for the Steinway-sized daydreams.
