Alo is an LA-based business, started in 2007 by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge, created to bring yoga to the world through clothing that elevates yoga practice and also goes beyond the mat as fashion-forward street wear. Alo – which stands for air, land and ocean – skyrocketed in popularity during the pandemic, reaching over $1B in sales in 2022.  Currently, they have opened 43 stores (also called “sanctuaries”) in the United States, with plans for physical locations in London and Paris in the next couple of years. In addition to producing clothing that stands out in both functionality and form, Alo Yoga is also known for their frequent health and wellness centered activations at their stores.
