What was it like to be a soldier getting ready to leave Valley Forge after six months of hardship, hard work, and training? Learn this and much more with a day of activities and programs at Artillery Park commemorating the 246th anniversary of the day the Continental Army left Valley Forge in June 1778 after a transformative encampment.

In the event of rain, most activities will take place inside the Visitor Center at Valley Forge and the black powder musket firing demonstrations will be canceled.
