Now Available: 2024-2029 Strategic Plan

King of Prussia District’s Board of Directors and staff are proud to release the organization’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan. The plan centers on driving activity and investment in King of Prussia, a contrast to the District’s 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, which was created in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and focused on recovery.
Within the plan, we unveil a streamlined version of our mission statement, establish a vision statement and guiding principles for the organization, and outline goals for our five programs.
Mission Statement:
King of Prussia District accelerates economic growth by making King of Prussia vibrant, attractive and prosperous.
Vision Statement:
King of Prussia is Greater Philadelphia’s economic powerhouse and premier location for community and commerce.
Guiding Principles:
Inspire collaboration that strengthens community.
Advocate for our stakeholders.
Elevate King of Prussia’s profile.
Deliver a compelling vision for King of Prussia’s future.
Strive to increase property values.
As part of the 5-month planning process, staff, Board and Committee Members confirmed that four of the District’s five programs – Marketing & Communications; Land Use & Zoning; Physical Improvements; and Transportation – still served the organization and our stakeholders. The Tax Policy program, however, will expand with the new plan to include more robust data collection and analysis, and will be renamed to Research & Data Analytics.
The Strategic Plan outlines goals for each of these programs, as well as administrative goals that will ensure that the District remains strong over the next five years. These goals include:
- Accelerate revenue growth to ensure that staffing reflects increased programming goals.
- Establish a robust research and data collection program.
- Work to renew King of Prussia District for a 10-year period (2025-2035).
- Gain better understanding of community perceptions of King of Prussia District and King of Prussia through a third-party survey.
“As we enter into our 14th year serving our stakeholders and contributing to KOP’s success, this Strategic Plan provides a framework to ensure that we continue to deliver on our promises,” said Eric Goldstein, President & CEO of King of Prussia District. “We remain committed to raising the profile and vibrancy of KOP through marketing and communications; designing and building enduring projects that improve community aesthetic; fostering better mobility for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists; engaging partners to enact thoughtful strategies for future planning and growth; and collecting, analyzing and reporting on key performance metrics of our community and organization.”
