About Us
King of Prussia District

The Evolution of King of Prussia District
King of Prussia District was created in 2010 to revitalize KOP’s commercial landscape following the Great Recession. Today, the District represents 432 property owners and spearheads programs that drive development, attract investment and generate jobs. With our renewal recently extended through 2035, King of Prussia District continues to pursue our vision: Making King of Prussia Greater Philadelphia’s economic powerhouse and the premier location for community and commerce.

Core Values & Guiding Principles
Guided by our mission, we live by three core values. We’re progressive– we seize opportunities, challenge convention and go after our goals with energy and heart. We’re determined–always aiming for excellence, staying focused and working to build a stronger community. And we’re fun–we value a good sense of humor, love creating extraordinary experiences and enjoy rolling up our sleeves and getting sh*t done. These values shape our exciting vision for the future as well as how we work together, support our stakeholders, raise King of Prussia’s profile and help grow property values along the way.

Our Five Programs
Managed by staff and guided by program committees and our Board of Directors, King of Prussia District advances our mission through five core programs established by our founders to deliver the greatest impact: Physical Improvements, Transportation, Land Use & Zoning, Marketing & Communications and Research & Data Analytics. Our programs are funded through a special annual assessment paid by owners of commercial, industrial and multifamily properties within our boundary.
