Thanks to Kizik’s patented technology, putting on your shoes is now a whole lot easier. Kizik is a Salt Lake City based footware brand, founded in 2017, but their story starts long before that. Mike Pratt had the idea to create a heel that snaps back into place when stepping into your shoes without sitting, bending or crushing your shoe heel. He began relentlessly innovating in 2009, filed Kizik’s first patents in 2014 and launched Kizik’s very first product line in 2017. The HandsFree Labs®️ technology consists of an internal cage that makes slipping into pair of sneakers hands-free, seamless and accessible. Today, HandsFree Labs®️ boasts 170 patents and counting, continuously pushing the boundaries of shoe tech and attracting industry-wide attention. Kizik dipped their toes into brick-and-mortar retail in 2023, with big plans for continued growth.
