Now Open: GreenDrop
Just in time for the season of spring cleaning, garage de-cluttering and closet reorganizing, GreenDrop has opened its 18th Pennsylvania donation site in the parking lot of King of Prussia Mall, adjacent to True Food Kitchen and across from The Capital Grille.
Founded in Bensalem, Pennsylvania in 2001, GreenDrop is a for-profit company that is working to keep millions of reusable items out of landfills while allowing consumers to support nonprofit organizations like the Purple Heart and Federation of the Blind. Goods that are donated to GreenDrop via collection sites or home pickups are sold on the resale market or in local thrift stores and then contributions are made to their partner nonprofits. GreenDrop King of Prussia’s nonprofit partner is the American Red Cross.
Visit the GreenDrop donation site Monday to Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM to donate clothing, small appliances, decor and more (see a full list of accepted items here) and their helpful attendants will help you unpack your car and even provide a tax receipt for your records.
