Here are five key updates every King of Prussia aficionado should know from Q2 2026:

1. Recharge Park is officially open to the public!Recharge Park is located at 680 Freedom Business Center Drive along the western end of the First Avenue Linear Park between Topgolf and Valley Forge Casino Resort. Recharge Park transforms an underutilized site into a vibrant 1.1-acre destination that reflects the District’s ongoing commitment to placemaking, sustainability and quality of life. 2. The inaugural KOP Cares Month raised $67,020 to support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s King of Prussia Campus!
In April, 102 KOP businesses supported the inaugural KOP Cares Month, an evolution of KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP, by hosting donation days, featured fundraising menus, special events and round-up-at-the-register campaigns, contributing to a lifetime fundraising total of $563,136. 3. We released the 2026 Upper Merion Township/King of Prussia Retail Report, providing a detailed look at the continued strength and evolution of KOP’s retail market.
With 6.2M SF of retail space, nearly 40M annual visits, a 2.3% vacancy rate and continued growth in experiential retail and new business openings, the report underscores King of Prussia’s position as a leading regional destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. 4. We were proud to receive a $5,000 grant from the Upper Merion Board of Community Assistance in support of our Clean Streets Litter Program.
Launched in May 2025, Clean Streets expands our efforts to remove litter along key King of Prussia roadways, including Route 202, North Gulph Road, and Routes 76, 276 and 422. Our most recent cleanup in May alone collected 2,080 pounds of trash. Since the program launched, we’ve removed several tons of debris across six corridors.

5. King of Prussia District and Upper Merion Township launched the next phase of improvements in Renaissance Park.
In late April, we hosted a public meeting to review proposed right of way improvements and new public spaces. Building on the 2024 Renaissance Park Connectivity Master Plan, the project focuses on improving pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular safety while strengthening connections between commercial destinations and nearby neighborhoods.
