Located at 680 Freedom Business Center Drive, along the western end of the First Avenue Linear Park between Topgolf and Valley Forge Casino Resort, Recharge Park transforms an underutilized site into a vibrant destination that reflects the District’s ongoing commitment to placemaking, sustainability and quality of life.
Parking for Recharge Park is available across the street at Valley Forge Casino Resort on weekdays during business hours, and next door at 640 Freedom Business Center Drive after 5 PM on weekdays and on weekends.
Park Amenities
Some exciting features of Recharge Park include:
Sustainable design – solar-powered lighting, covered outdoor workstations and use of elemental materials that prioritize reuse
Playful elements – swings crafted from repurposed wind turbines plus a rock lounge with boulders, stones and a Zen-style garden
Community gathering spaces – a large open lawn for yoga, movies and picnics; smaller work and play nooks; and a food truck pull-off for events
Immersive natural landscapes – native grasses, perennials, shrubs and trees woven throughout the site
King of Prussia District Beehive
In 2022, King of Prussia District installed a beehive along the First Avenue Linear Park, which has now found its home in Recharge Park. The hive welcomes visitors every 3-weeks during regular maintenance visits with our beekeeper and we also host free workshops throughout the year!
Where Swings Meet Art
The four bench swings located at Recharge Park are constructed by Noblewins out of recycled wind turbines and adorned with painted murals by local artist, Lindsay Archer. Following a call for artists which yielded several creative submissions, Lindsay’s design was selected by a jury of individuals whose partnership has been invaluable to the opening of Recharge Park. The artwork, titled Portals to Peace, invites visitors to pause, reflect and engage with the natural surroundings. View more of Lindsay’s work here.
