King of Prussia District Beehives
Meet the Bees of King of Prussia

Moore Park
In 2022, King of Prussia District installed a beehive along the First Avenue Linear Park. The hive sparked a lot of buzz and was well-received by businesses and employees along the park.
This year, we once again welcomed bees to Moore Park. From spring until the beginning of winter, the new hive will grow and produce, reaching up to 50,000 inhabitants at the height of the season. This summer and fall you can expect to see exciting free workshops and events associated with the new hive. Mo, our beekeeper, will be on site every 3 weeks to inspect the hive and answer questions.

Renaissance Park
After the success of our first beehive at Moore Park, we have once again partnered with Alveole to bring bees to Renaissance Park! Our hive, which is now installed, we will hold workshops throughout the year. Spectators are also welcome to visit the hive during regular 3-week maintenance and ask our beekeeper, Mo, any questions you may have about the bees.
