King of Prussia District’s Inaugural KOP Cares Month Raises $67,020 for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s KOP Campus
On May 28, King of Prussia District proudly presented Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with a $67,020 donation raised during KOP Cares Month campaign, which debuted throughout King of Prussia from April 1-30, 2026. With this year’s contribution, the District’s lifetime fundraising total for CHOP has reached $563,136.
Originally launched in 2015 as a Restaurant Week with a fundraising component, the initiative has evolved over the years into KOP Cares Month, a monthlong, community-wide campaign uniting local retailers, restaurants, service providers and attractions in support of CHOP’s King of Prussia campus.
This year, 102 King of Prussia businesses participated through donation days, featured menus, special events and CHOP Kid Creations, exclusive products developed in partnership with CHOP ambassador children. Community support also extended into local schools, with Upper Merion Area School District hosting a pajama day fundraiser on April 16.
In addition to business participation, King of Prussia District raised funds through an online raffle and concluded the campaign with the Block Party for CHOP at KOP Town Center on May 2. The Block Party welcomed more than 1,200 attendees for an afternoon of games, entertainment and raffles.
“KOP Cares Month was created by the community, for the community, and it continues to evolve based on the needs of those we serve,” said Eric Goldstein, President & CEO of King of Prussia District. “We’re incredibly proud of the impact this campaign has made and deeply grateful to our sponsors, participating businesses and everyone who supported CHOP throughout the month.”
KOP Cares Month is presented by SERVPRO of King of Prussia and supported by Gold Sponsors AgileCat, AVE King of Prussia, Valley Forge Casino Resort, Valley Forge & Montgomery County PA and WSFS Bank, along with Print Sponsor Conlin’s Print.
