Supporting the KOP Community
Throughout the year, King of Prussia District, on behalf of our stakeholders, is proud to support a number of incredible organizations that are serving the residents of Upper Merion Township. Investing in these organizations helps to strengthen the community at large, and builds a stronger connection between Upper Merion Township’s residents and business community.
Here’s a roundup of some of our recent partnerships:
Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard
The Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard (UMACC) is a food pantry that is open to anyone who lives within the bounds of the Upper Merion Area School District and is hungry or food insufficient. Housed in the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church (191 Town Center Road), the UMACC is open every Tuesday from 9:30-11:30 AM or 5:30-7:30 PM. In its first year, UMACC has served 170 families, reaching more than 400 local patrons. King of Prussia District has supported UMACC through our holiday food drive since 2017, and also recently sponsored UMACC’s one-year-anniversary open house.
