Camp KOP 2026: Adult Summer Camp Brought Nostalgic Fun to Recharge Park
Summer arrived early in King of Prussia this June, and for three Wednesdays in a row, the KOP community traded their desks for lawn games, axes and a whole lot of friendly competition.
Camp KOP, produced by King of Prussia District and presented by KeyBank, brought adults-only summer camp nostalgia to Recharge Park and the response was nothing short of a full cabin turnout.

Over the first two weeks, campers took on axe throwing with Bury the Hatchet, tested their aim with archery, got crafty with bracelet making with Little Words Project and candle making with Alveole, and rounded it all out with trash can pong, giant lawn games and board games. Food trucks Have a Ball and WokWorks kept energy levels up, and Dia Doce and Kresha’s Kreations made sure no one left without something sweet. Evening happy hours brought the fun indoors, with bingo at Valley Beach at Valley Forge Casino Resort and Millennial Nostalgia-themed trivia at City Works at King of Prussia Town Center.

The series closed out on June 24 with a bang. Corporate Field Day, facilitated by Family Phys. Ed., brought approximately 100 participants together for tug of war, relay races, minute-to-win-it challenges and the kind of wholesome chaos that only happens when adults are handed a jump rope and told to win. A big thank you to Family Phys. Ed. for bringing the energy and expertise to make it all happen. Thanks also go out to DJ Kevin with SCE Event Group for keeping the vibes high, Petrucci’s for keeping participants cool throughout the festivities and Mission BBQ for providing the delicious recovery meal to our 12 teams of competitors. Congrats to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, Multidiscipline Mayhem (Barry Isett & Associates), Epic Church and Team Tough Stuff (TS Partners) Plus a shout out out to Brandywine Realty Trust for their well-earned Spirit Award!
All told, Camp KOP drew more than 250 attendees from Moore Park and the broader KOP community, proving that the promise of lawn games and free snacks is genuinely universal. Thank you to everyone who showed up, competed, got crafty and made Camp KOP 2026 one for the books. See you next summer!
