Summer Fitness Series Reinvigorates 2022 Fitness Goals
On the heels of our inaugural KOP Wellness Week in February, this Spring King of Prussia District continued to prioritize health and wellness with a brand new, free pop-up fitness series called KOP Wellness Wednesdays.
Perfect for those interested in getting their summer fitness goals back on track, or those looking to find their next fitness passion, the 4-class series took place on Wednesdays May 4 & 18 and June 1 & 15 and featured four different fitness centers: YogaSix Main Line, Upper Merion Community Center, Dub Fitness and Elle FIT Dance & Fitness.
Each class took place outdoors at Renaissance Park or Moore Park and averaged about 20 attendees each. Classes ranged from yoga to HIIT to Metabolic Conditioning to a dance/yoga fusion called Yoga Flow, allowing attendees to explore and experience different fitness modalities, and hopefully discover a class that was right for them and their fitness journey.
Before and after class, there were opportunities for attendees to snag a free Swag Bag with samples and goodies valued at over $100, get some free snacks from Wegmans KOP, True Food Kitchen and Founding Farmers and talk to our sponsors, who also had some incredible freebies up for grabs.
Special thanks goes out to presenting sponsor Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Platinum Sponsor Rothman Institute Orthopaedics and Silver Sponsors Brookdale Hospice, Einstein Healthcare Network, Lifestyle Changes by Dr. Darby and Main Line Health.
