Upper Merion is more than just a township; it is a community that genuinely cares.

At the heart of this caring spirit is the Upper Merion Foundation, a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing the well-being of local residents. Founded in 1999, the Foundation exists to raise funds and secure resources to support programs that improve the quality of life for all who call Upper Merion home.

The Upper Merion Foundation focuses on providing financial assistance to residents facing emergency and disaster situations. Whether it’s a family in need due to unforeseen circumstances or a community member experiencing a crisis, the Foundation is there to offer support.

The Upper Merion Foundation has been actively involved in several key projects that benefit the local community. These include: emergency financial assistance, providing funds to non-profits which give direct aid to residents facing financial crisis due to job loss, medical emergencies or unexpected hardships; local food pantry support, funding and donating to ensure families in need have access to nutritious meals; mini-grants that supply critical fund to charitable service organizations to address immediate acute needs; disaster relief efforts, partnering with Upper Merion Public Safety to get resources and support to victims during natural disasters or other local emergencies; and community improvement initiatives, partnering with local organizations to enhance public spaces, support sustainability efforts and improve overall community welfare.

Upper Merion thrives because of the people who invest in its success. The Foundation relies on generous contributions from individuals, businesses and organizations to continue its mission. Every donation, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in providing relief and assistance to vulnerable residents. By giving where you live, you are directly impacting the lives of your neighbors and strengthening the community as a whole.

Upcoming Event

Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Upper Merion Township’s upcoming fundraising event. Springtoberfest is a unique celebration that combines great food, music and community spirit to support a worthy cause.

Join in on a day of delicious German-style food, refreshing beer, lively German polka band music and exciting raffles on Saturday, May 3 from 2-6 PM. The festivities will take place under the pavilion and tents at Nor-View Farm, 670 N. Henderson Road.

Together, we can make a difference. Let’s continue to build a community that cares, supports and thrives!
