King of Prussia, PA (December 18, 2020) – Takeout is taking over in King of Prussia, thanks to King of Prussia District’s latest initiative to support the struggling restaurant community. - Tiffin Indian Cuisine
- True Food Kitchen
King of Prussia District will also celebrate KOP Takeout Takeover with gift card giveaways from all of the participating restaurants on the District’s Instagram account over the three week campaign.
This is the District’s latest initiative designed to safely bring people back to KOP to support its most vulnerable businesses this year. In August, King of Prussia District launched the Get More, KOP Gift Card Upgrade Program, a promotion that included the sale of “upgraded” gift cards from over 40 different businesses in KOP. The campaign ran over the course of three rounds through October, and infused the local economy with $110,000 in gift card sales.
King of Prussia District planned to launch this takeout-focused campaign in early 2021, but moved the promotion up by a few weeks in light of the recent in-restaurant dining restrictions.
“It is devastating to see the way that the pandemic has impacted our restaurant community, as well as our hotels, retailers and attractions,” said Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of King of Prussia District. “We hope that KOP Takeout Takeover will encourage more people to support these businesses at a time when they truly need it most.”
