Upper Merion Farmers Market Returns with Fresh Flavors, Local Vendors and Fun for Everyone

Heading to the farmers market on a sunny Saturday morning is like a mini adventure, with fresh produce and unique artisanal goods waiting to be discovered.
The Upper Merion Farmers Market is excited to welcome the community back for another vibrant season of farm-fresh produce, locally crafted goods, and neighborly connection. Located at Nor-View Farm (670 N Henderson Rd.), the market opens for its 2025 season on Saturday, May 17, and will run every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, rain or shine.
Opening day coincides with the market’s beloved Strawberry Fest, featuring sweet Lancaster-grown strawberries, a lively mix of vendors offering strawberry-themed treats and crafts, food trucks, refreshing beer and cocktails, giveaways and a baking contest open to all. It’s a berry fun way to kick off the season!
This year, the market will see the return of many favorite local vendors, along with a lineup of new faces bringing fresh energy and products. Visitors can look forward to a diverse selection that includes seasonal fruits and vegetables, artisan breads, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, pantry staples and handmade crafts.
Each Saturday offers a little something for everyone:
-
Fresh, seasonal produce from nearby farms
-
Delicious prepared foods and brunch-worthy bites
-
Sustainable goods and handcrafted items
-
Themed events throughout the season, including Strawberry Fest, the Block Party featuring the Zucchini 500, Chili Cook Off, October Friday Night Market, Harvest Market and Winter Wonderland
Beyond the shopping, the Upper Merion Farmers Market is a hub for community connection and small business support. Set on a working farm, the site also features farm animals and a local ice cream stand, making it a delightful weekend destination for families.
