Now Open: CHOP’s Brand-new Hospital in King of Prussia
Our community partner, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), recently opened the doors of their second inpatient hospital — right here in King of Prussia! The Middleman Family Pavilion will provide families throughout our region easy access to the highest quality hospital services available for children.
The new hospital is immediately adjacent to CHOP’s existing Specialty Care Center and the recently expanded Urgent Care Center, making CHOP’s KOP campus a convenient healthcare hub where families can access the full scope of pediatric medical services. Plus, parking is easy and free!
Ranked No. 1 in the region and No. 2 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report’s 2021-22 Honor Roll of Best Children’s Hospitals, CHOP’s top-ranked pediatric specialists are experts in child health from infancy through young adulthood. The hospital’s pediatric ER is the region’s only ER with both pediatric emergency medicine-trained physicians and pediatric intensivists onsite 24/7.
Designed with families in mind, the Middleman Pavilion offers all private inpatient rooms, with separate spaces for caregivers to sleep, work or unwind, as well as meditation rooms for spiritual care and reflection. A breadth of support services are also available, including 24/7 language interpretation and child life specialists to help children cope with the stress of hospitalization. At every step, families visiting the Middleman Pavilion can expect to encounter thoughtful features to provide the most exceptional experience possible.
