Get Happy at King of Prussia’s Finest Happy Hours

After a hard day’s work behind your desk, or wherever you may be for 8 hours during the day, you’re no doubt desperately in need of some excitement.

Luckily, King of Prussia is one of the best places in PA to enjoy the best time of day – happy hour!

Start with a refreshing beer and nibbles from the City Works Eatery & Pour House. With over 90 craft beers on draft, 8 wines on tap, a focus on local breweries and an outdoor patio with HDTV’s that is dog-friendly, you can’t go wrong. Try their bar bites too, with fried pickles, battered cheese curds, pretzel bites and popcorn chicken. Located in the bustling see-and-be-seen King of Prussia Town Center.

Need a taste of the tropics? Head to Bahama Breeze for some fantastic drinks, like the King Carnival, Pineapple Martini, Bahama Mama, Ultimate Margarita, Rum Runner, and aptly named, Painkiller, as well as classics like mojitos, sangria and beer. Pair these beverages with appetizers like empanadas, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken tostones, firecracker shrimp, Jamaican jerk wings and coconut shrimp. Catch their specials Monday through Friday from 5-6 PM.

Pizzeria Vetri, located in King of Prussia Town Center, offers one of the best happy hour combos around: pizza and wine (or beer, or cocktails!) Weekdays from 4-6 PM, enjoy $7 cocktails, $5 select beers, $6 on-tap wine and $10 select Neapolitan pizzas.

If you’re in the mood for Italian, Maggiano’s, near King of Prussia Mall, is sure to please your palate. Their happy hour is available Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM in the dining room, bar and lounge. Start with some premium draft beer like Stella Artois or Goose Island IPA, inventive cocktails like their Moscato Mojito, Pomegranate Martini, or the Primo Margarita or try their wines by the glass. Then enjoy some flatbreads, like their Italian sausage or margherita. Maggiano’s also has a nice selection of alcohol-free beverages.

Have you been to local fav (and locally owned) Peppers by Amedeo’s? Their happy hour specials run from 4-6 PM and include $2 off bar bites, $1 off beer, and $2 off any wine and cocktails. Stick around a little later and you may hear some live music or get a chance to partake in trivia!

Belly up to the bar at Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue in KOP Mall every Monday to Friday from 5-7 PM to enjoy half price apps and $5 draft beer, wines or liquor. Come for the drink deals, and stay for the smoked wings, candied bacon and brisket nachos! Don’t forget your appetite.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse has a happy hour that is sure to put a smile on your face! They offer $7 martinis, like the Knockout and the Hemingway, and $7 craft cocktails, like the Gold Rush and the Spicy Margarita. Couple your favorite beverage with a $7 bar bite, like gluten-free blue cheese chips, Sullivan’s signature beef burger sliders, cheesesteak eggrolls or beef wellington bites.

At Buffalo Wild Wings in the KOP Mall, 3-6 is all you need to know.  From 3-6 PM, indulge in a handful of happy hour treats and libations that are $3-6 each. From their strawberry margarita, to tots to everything pretzel knots, the combinations are almost endless.
