King of Prussia District Seeks Public Input on the Future of King of Prussia
Survey and community pop-ups are part of King of Prussia District’s KOP Community Connection outreach and engagement project.
King of Prussia, PA (August 7, 2024) – If you live, work, dine, or shop in King of Prussia, King of Prussia District wants to hear what you envision for KOP’s future. Now through November 27, King of Prussia District invites you to take six minutes to share your thoughts via an online survey, or in person at select community events throughout Upper Merion/King of Prussia (UMT/KOP).
King of Prussia District’s community engagement project, KOP Community Connection, was born out of the District’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, released in January 2024. Among the goals outlined, King of Prussia District’s Board of Directors, program committees and staff expressed a desire to better understand community perceptions of the District’s programs and KOP’s transformation – as well as their vision for the future. To advance this goal, King of Prussia District engaged Connect the Dots, a firm that specializes in public/stakeholder engagement, to hear from the community at large. Through this multi-faceted project, King of Prussia District aims to determine the best ways to enhance services, amenities and programs for all who live, work, dine and shop in UMT/KOP. After months of strategic design and planning, the project has moved into its action phase.
In addition to gathering feedback from the online survey, representatives from Connect the Dots will engage with UMT/KOP’s residents, employees and visitors at select community events throughout KOP in September, October and November. Additionally, survey kiosks will be placed in the lobbies of several commercial office buildings to gain specific insights from KOP’s workforce. The project will also include targeted interviews and focus groups.
“As King of Prussia District enters into its 15th year working to fulfill our mission of accelerating economic growth by making King of Prussia vibrant, attractive and prosperous, we are eager to learn more about the community’s vision for the future,” said Eric Goldstein, President & CEO of King of Prussia District. “KOP Community Connection is our most comprehensive engagement study to date and will be a powerful guide for our work moving forward.”
