Presenting the 2025 King of Prussia District Award recipients:
State Senator Amanda Cappelletti
Senator Cappelletti has been a steadfast advocate for developing and enhancing multimodal trails across the 17th District, including the First Avenue Linear Park and the Moore Road Multimodal Trail in Upper Merion Township. Thanks to her support, Upper Merion Township and the King of Prussia District have secured multiple grants from the Commonwealth for these transformative projects. Most recently, in November 2024, the proposed Moore Road Multimodal Trail and Linear Park received a generous $500,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2), in addition to the $1.2M awarded through the Commonwealth’s Local Share Account (October) and Multimodal Transportation Fund (March) programs. We are proud to honor Senator Cappelletti for her dedication to expanding recreational infrastructure and fostering a more connected, accessible community.

Additionally, a 10,000 SF retail center is in progress, with eateries Cava and First Watch set to open in 2025. This redevelopment modernizes King of Prussia’s lodging options, strengthens the local economy and enhances the area’s reputation as a premier destination.
