Growth, Connection & New Energy at KOP District

At King of Prussia District, we’re all about growth.
In our community, our programs and now, within our own team. That’s why we’re so proud to celebrate a recent achievement by one of our own and to welcome a fresh face to the office this summer!
First, a big congratulations to our Director of Marketing & Communications, Rachel Ammon, who recently completed the Leadership Main Line Program with The Main Line Chamber of Commerce. Over the course of several months, Rachel worked alongside a cohort of 20 inspiring leaders from across the region to tackle some of our area’s most pressing challenges. Through site visits, thought-provoking discussions and hands-on service projects, including a deeply impactful collaboration with Covenant House International, which supports youth experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia, Rachel walked away from the program with new connections, valuable insights and a renewed passion for meaningful community engagement. We’re incredibly proud of the work she’s done and grateful to have her bring her continued leadership here at King of Prussia District.
We’re also excited to introduce you to the newest member of our team: Nikki Khmelnitsky, our Marketing & Community Engagement Intern for summer 2025! Nikki is a lifelong King of Prussia resident and a proud graduate of Upper Merion Area High School (Class of 2023), where she first discovered her passion for community building. From volunteering at the Upper Merion Township Library to launching a community-wide chess program, Nikki is invested in making her hometown even better. She’s currently heading into her junior year at Penn State, where she’s studying marketing—and when she’s not in the classroom or connecting with residents, she’s off on adventures (like the time she swam with a sea turtle in the wild!).
We’re thrilled to have Nikki on board this summer, bringing her energy, creativity and hometown pride to our work. Between Rachel’s recent leadership journey and Nikki’s return to her roots, it’s shaping up to be a season full of new energy and momentum here at King of Prussia District!
