Renaissance Park Meetings Outline Next Steps for Connectivity
Renaissance Park is home to a variety of businesses and industries, with residential projects on the horizon, creating a great need for a strong foundation of pedestrian connections.
King of Prussia District is working with Simone Collins Landscape Architecture and Traffic Planning & Design to develop bike and pedestrian connections between Renaissance Park properties, public transportation resources and surrounding neighborhoods.
The first two Connectivity Study public meetings were held in June with representatives from commercial property owners, businesses, residents from surrounding neighborhoods, representatives from Montgomery County Planning Commission, Upper Merion Public Works and Upper Merion Fire Department. The initial public meetings inspired important discourse between the public and King of Prussia District. Attendees presented ideas and relayed concerns regarding pedestrian infrastructure throughout the commercial district that will help guide future plans. Miss the meetings? We are still gathering comments from stakeholders and want your input! Members of the public can utilize Wikimapping to identify where you would like to see connectivity improvements in Renaissance Park by marking it on an interactive map. Draw routes, add points, upload photos and leave comments.
