Fun New Feature Along First Avenue Linear Park

With Phase One of the First Avenue Linear Park complete and Phase Two under construction, King of Prussia District is partnering with property owners along the Linear Park to liven up the space with new active amenities. We are excited for the next addition – Moore Park’s first outdoor ping pong table! This recreational outdoor activity will be ready for your best game of pong at the beginning of October. Bring your own ping pong ball and paddles to enjoy this new KETTLER Eden table in front of GeoBlue and Radial at 935 First Avenue. Additional paddle/ball sets will be distributed to property owners along the Linear Park in mid-October for their tenants and employees to get in a quick game during lunch, a coffee break or for a little happy hour competition.

To welcome this fun new feature, we will be hosting a Ping Pong Tournament on October 20 from 4-7 PM! All experience levels are welcome to join in on the fun and the winner of the tournament will receive a grand prize (TBD). If you’re more into spectating, we are planning some food/drinks for the fans who want to come cheer on their favorite player. Sign-up here for your chance to be named ping-pong champion!

In addition to building and maintaining the First Avenue trail along the Linear Park, we are committed to programming activities and placemaking opportunities in order to make this mixed-use district an exciting attraction for commercial tenants, residents and visitors. This charge is even more important as part of a broader return-to-office strategy. With results from a stakeholder survey conducted at the beginning of the year, we are busy planning future Linear Park programming including live music, food and beverage carts, pop-up fitness classes, games, public art installations and maybe even a pop-up beer garden or two!
