King of Prussia District Hires Rachel Ammon as Director of Marketing & Communications
King of Prussia, PA (August 21, 2017) – King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) is proud to announce the recent hire of Rachel Ammon, who joins KOP-BID as Director of Marketing & Communications. In this role, Ammon oversees all of KOP-BID’s marketing initiatives, including marketing collateral, website production, advertising, public relations, and event planning.
“There’s no denying that King of Prussia is experiencing incredible growth right now,” said Ammon. “The energy and excitement is palpable, and I’m thrilled to join the passionate team at KOP-BID who has contributed to this,” said Ammon.
Ammon comes to KOP-BID from Main Line Art Center, a non-profit visual art center in Haverford where she served as Director of Communications for over 9 years. During her tenure, Ammon managed two website redesign projects, launched the Center’s social media presence, cultivated relationships with members of the media resulting in over 200 news articles, and managed all of the Center’s marketing and communications efforts. She also played a pivotal role in the Center’s many events, experience that will serve her well in the planning of KOP-BID’s annual signature event and fundraiser, KOP Beerfest Royale on October 5 & 7, 2017.
Prior to that, Ammon served as Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator for The Renfrew Center in Philadelphia, the nation’s largest eating disorder treatment facility, where she secured coverage in top-tier national print and broadcast outlets including TIME, USA Today, CNN, The Today Show, 20/20 and The New York Times, as well as local outlets in 9 markets.
“We are happy to welcome Rachel to the team,” said Eric T. Goldstein, Executive Director for King of Prussia District. “Her experience and enthusiasm will serve her well as we strive to make King of Prussia the best place for work, life and recreation.”
