King of Prussia senior living development takes shape as Covid-19 presents leasing hurdles

As CA Ventures progresses toward the completion of its Anthology Senior Living community at the Village at Valley Forge in King of Prussia, the company faces a steep climb to lease out the 192-unit facility.

“Covid will be our biggest challenge,” said Janine Dambrosio, director of marketing and sales at the King of Prussia community.

It’s not alone. Under the backdrop of the coronavirus that has disproportionately affected and killed those living in assisted living facilities, just about every community serving that population has come under a microscope. The deaths, subsequent removal of some residents as well as the lack of new leasing activity has had an impact on the senior housing sector.
