Let’s Go KOP Hospitality Hiring Fair: Tuesday, May 4, 10 AM – 4 PM at the
Alloy King of Prussia – a DoubleTree by Hilton

King of Prussia, PA (March 26, 2021) – As the region’s vaccination rates increase, so does business to its restaurants and hotels. While this influx of business is much needed after an extremely difficult year, it highlights a new problem that is plaguing the hospitality sector across the country: A staffing shortage. King of Prussia District is addressing this issue by bringing together the hospitality community to host the Let’s Go KOP Hospitality Hiring Fair on Tuesday, May 4 from 10 AM – 4 PM at the Alloy King of Prussia – a DoubleTree by Hilton (301 W. Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406).

The 29 King of Prussia restaurants and hotels participating in the Let’s Go KOP Hospitality Hiring Fair are looking for people with a variety of experience levels to fill 350+ front-of-house, back-of-house and leadership positions. All participating businesses will offer on-site interviews at the hiring fair and many will be prepared to extend offers during the event.

Businesses participating in the Let’s Go KOP Hospitality Hiring Fair:
AVE King of Prussia, Bahama Breeze, bartaco, Bonefish Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-fil-A, KOP, Chili’s Grill and Bar, Crowne Plaza King of Prussia, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, Founding Farmers , Grand Lux Café, Holiday Inn Express & Suites King of Prussia, Honeygrow, Hyatt House King of Prussia, Maggiano’s Little Italy, MISSION BBQ King of Prussia, Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue, Outback Steakhouse , Paladar Latin Kitchen, Seasons 52, Shake Shack, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Sweetgreen, the Alloy King of Prussia – a DoubleTree by Hilton, The Capital Grille , True Food Kitchen, Valley Forge Casino & Resort, Wurzak Hotel Group

King of Prussia District is also sponsoring a bonus program during the event, offering $20,000 in bonuses for positions accepted with restaurants and hotels that have opted in to the bonus program. The first 65 people to accept a position with a participating business will be eligible for a $300 bonus, which will be paid out in two installments ($150 after 30 days of employment and $150 after 90 days of employment).

“King of Prussia’s hospitality scene is booming, attracting people from near and far who are drawn to our world-class dining, shopping and entertainment,” said Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of King of Prussia District. “Coming off a difficult year, it’s difficult for us to hear that our hotels and restaurants are struggling to staff up for the increased business. We hope that by highlighting the many reasons why KOP is great place to work and offering an extra incentive with the bonus, we can encourage people to start the next chapter in their employment journey in King of Prussia.”

Admission to the Let’s Go KOP Hospitality Hiring Fair is free and pre-registration is not required. Interested applicants should bring copies of their resume and can also access many of the applications in advance on the Hiring Fair’s webpage (https://visitkop.com/lets-go-kop-hospitality-hiring-fair/).
