King of Prussia District Honors First Responders
Along with Upper Merion Township and Lead Sponsor Pro Team Collision, King of Prussia District honored first responders for First Responders Appreciation Week October 24-28.
Our opening luncheon and press event on October 24 included remarks from Eric Goldstein, King of Prussia District’s President & CEO, Carole Kenney, Chair of Upper Merion Township’s Board of Supervisors, Chief Thomas Nolan, Upper Merion Township’s Director of Public Safety and Josh Pletscher, President of Pro Team Collision. The event was featured by news stations 6ABC and NBC10.
Throughout the course of the week, six King of Prussia restaurants served ten meals to first responders, including Founding Farmers, City Works, J. Alexander’s, Valley Tavern, Maggiano’s and District Taco. In all, 205 meals were served to UMT’s career and volunteer first responders. In addition to complimentary meals, EMS, police and fire fighters were treated to chair massages from Philadelphia School of Massage and artisanal coffee beverages from Many Hands Coffee Truck. Due to the incredible support of our sponsors, we were also able to present a check for $3,000 to the Upper Merion Department of Public Safety.
We were honored to thank the brave people serving as Upper Merion Township first responders throughout the week with the help of our volunteers and sponsors. Special thanks go out to Lead Sponsor Pro Team Collision; Supporting Sponsors, American Baptist Home Mission Societies, Best Western Plus the Inn at King of Prussia, Brandywine Realty Trust, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, King of Prussia Town Center, Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, Radial, SERVPRO of King of Prussia, Bacchi Funeral Home and Trulieve; and Friends AVE King of Prussia, B.
