King of Prussia District Debuts KOP Quaranteam Virtual Events to Keep Social Distancing Time Social During Month of April
King of Prussia, PA (April 10, 2020) – King of Prussia District is proud to debut KOP Quaranteam Virtual Events, a series of online events and contests to keep the community safe and entertained during this time of social distancing. From all-levels live workouts with KOP fitness instructors, to how-to lifestyle videos with KOP businesses, to live performances with the region’s talented musicians, KOP Quaranteam Virtual Events are free and available via King of Prussia District’s Facebook page or the free platform Zoom. “We are excited to delve into the world of virtual programming, and see this as a win-win way to support local talent, while reminding the public that they can still have fun and support the KOP community while staying safe,” said Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of King of Prussia District.
KOP Quaranteam Virtual Events will run the month of April and will be extended as long as the stay-at-home order is in effect. The lineup includes:
#MoveMonday: Every Monday at 6 PM, log on to get your heart pumping during a live workout with a different fitness instructor from one of KOP’s many incredible fitness studios. Workouts will be suitable for all levels and won’t require any special equipment. #TakeoutTuesdays: Supporting restaurants from home can be easy and delicious. Make Tuesday your takeout day and enter to win gift cards from KOP Restaurants on King of Prussia District’s Facebook page every week. #HumpDayHowTos: Every Wednesday, visit to King of Prussia District’s Facebook page for 15-30 minute lifestyle videos that will help you make the best of your time at home while educating you about KOP businesses. #CouchConcerts: Every Thursday from 6-7 PM, tune in to King of Prussia District’s Facebook page as two local musicians perform live in their living rooms. Viewers are encouraged to treat each concert like a date night or special event by ordering in or picking up dinner at one of KOP’s restaurants that are open for limited service. During each KOP Quaranteam Virtual Event, King of Prussia District staff and performers will remind the audience to support resources like the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard as well as the restaurant community during this difficult time.
King of Prussia District is also at work on a phased marketing and advertising campaign designed to welcome the public back to KOP once it is safe to do so. The campaign will focus on the strength, resilience and hospitality of the KOP business and residential community.
