Anticipate a Vibrant Spring for Renaissance Park Medians
King of Prussia District, in partnership with the Renaissance Park condo association P&F Ventures, completed planting an impressive length of medians on Renaissance Boulevard. The exciting planting plan produced the King of Prussia-based Landscape Architecture firm Stuart & Associates, showcases a vibrant palette of perennials, ornamental grasses, shrubs, ground covers and bulbs. After a competitive bid process, King of Prussia District hired Patriots Ground and Site Services to plant 2,200 linear feet of Renaissance Boulevard.
In 2020, the Renaissance Park Stakeholder Engagement Study highlighted the need to improve plantings beds at the office park gateways. This planting project is the first of many in this important mixed-use business park. Since 2011, King of Prussia District has installed and maintained 29 vibrant landscapes in roadway island medians on First Avenue, Rt. 202, Allendale Road, Henderson Road and I-76. Not only do these planting beds provide beautiful landscaping for all to enjoy, landscaped medians help reduce stormwater runoff and improve air quality. In addition to the environmental benefits, landscaped medians are a proven method for reducing vehicle speeds on busy roadways and create safer transportation corridors.
