We sat down with Vince Fabiani, Owner of SERVPRO of King of Prussia, to learn more about our Presenting Sponsor, their connection to the community and why they felt called to support KOP’s most heartwarming dining and shopping event.
King of Prussia District: Thank you for taking the time to chat with us today, Vince. We are so grateful for your support. When thinking of SERVPRO, many people immediately think about fire, water, mold or smoke damage clean-up and restoration. But actually, SERVPRO has more to offer. Tell me about that.
Vince: Yes, as a well-trusted leader in restoration, SERVPRO of King of Prussia is committed to quickly responding to residential or commercial disasters of any size, 24/7. Our staff is highly experienced, with the training, equipment and expertise to handle restoration and cleaning needs far beyond expectations. As you said, while much of our work revolves around fire, water, mold and smoke damage clean-up and restoration, we also tackle any size commercial project, biohazard/trauma/crime scene clean-up and reconstruction services. In 2020, we also moved into COVID-19 disinfection, launching our Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned Program.
King of Prussia District: How long has SERVPRO of King of Prussia been in business?
Vince: I’ve been in the restoration industry for 8 years. I acquired the King of Prussia franchise in 2019 making this our fourth SERVPRO franchise. In addition to KOP, my team also serves Overbrook/ Wynnefield, Eastern Main Line/Bala Cynwyd and University City. Our management team has an industry average of 16+ years handling disasters from start to finish and making sure the customer is taken care of properly.
King of Prussia District: How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your business?
Vince: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our business in many ways including safety training on top of our regular monthly OSHA meetings. We also have access to state-of-the-art disinfecting equipment such as electro-static sprayers and environmentally conscious disinfectants. When entering a customer’s home or business, we are in Personal Protective Equipment when higher risk is presented, including hooded full-body suits, respirators, shoe coverings and eye protection.
King of Prussia District: Speaking of your team, I saw that a contingent from SERVPRO of King of Prussia were on the front lines of a recent weather event. Tell me about that.
Vince: At the end of February, the Southwest was impacted by winter storm Uri, causing unprecedented damage to areas of Texas and Oklahoma. SERVPRO of King of Prussia deployed our Disaster Recovery Team to the impacted region. Once we arrived with tractor trailers full of equipment and supplies, key members of our trained and certified staff immediately set out to help as many folks in need that we could. We are currently still working on some projects in Oklahoma and have successfully finished several commercial projects. We are fortunate that we were not affected by this vicious winter storm, and also grateful that we could lend a helping hand where it was needed most.

Vince: We are honored to be a part of this charitable event and consider it a privilege. As we learned more about these events and how restaurants and retailers in King of Prussia District come together in support of one another to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we couldn’t resist becoming a sponsor. Some of our employees and family members have been touched by the miracle work that Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has provided. I believe so many children and their families benefit from CHOP that it made good sense for us to contribute and get involved.
