Our Research & Data Analytics program delivers timely insights to guide decisions, support  growth and keep King of Prussia’s transformation in focus.

As King of Prussia continues to grow and thrive, stakeholders across industries are constantly in need of one thing: timely and insightful information to guide their decision making. Property owners and investors seek the latest commercial market trends, Upper Merion Township leaders require data on development and investment, while residents and employees want a clear, data-driven picture of the community.

To meet this need, King of Prussia District created the Research & Data Analytics program as part of our 2024-2029 Strategic Plan. Formerly known as the Tax Policy Program, Research & Data Analytics has evolved into a dynamic initiative that delivers regular and actionable insights across demographics, housing, commercial performance, transportation and more.

To make the data accessible for a wide range of audiences, King of Prussia District has developed a suite of resources:

• Data Dashboard: An interactive tool which regularly tracks King of Prussia’s growth and progress over time.
• ArcGIS Storymaps: Interactive maps that bring KOP’s data story to life, like this one featuring parks and trails.
• LinkedIn One Pagers: A quick snapshot of key KOP data points.
• Housing Reports: In-depth analyses of Upper Merion Township’s housing market.
• Quarterly Commercial Reports: Regular updates on commercial performance, new businesses and KOP news. Here is our Q2 2025 report.
• Annual Report to the Community: A yearly overview of community growth, future projects and District accomplishments.
