A Berks County design-build firm said plans to open an office in King of Prussia in several weeks to capitalize on its growing Philadelphia-area client base.
D&B Elite Construction Group, based in Sinking Spring, will open a 2,500-square-foot-office at 681 Moore Road in King of Prussia to serve its clients in that area, according to Dan Gring, principal of D&B Elite.
Many of its client base are in the so-called Main Line communities of Philadelphia and the office in King of Prussia will offer easy access, he added.
“We thought King of Prussia was a good hub,” Gring said. As we continue to brand and grow our business, we made a lot of traction down in that market.”
The company’s growth in the King of Prussia market comes from its commercial clients as well as residential prospects.
The company, which will mark its eighth year in business in February, has 23 employees, Gring said.
D&B Elite will have two full-time employees at its King of Prussia office and bring four from its Sinking Spring site.
The company’s three biggest markets on the commercial side are the business, medical and retail sectors, and the multifamily market in the residential sector.
“It’s slowing down a little bit but there’s certainly some areas in the suburbs that have ample growth,” Gring said.
As a design-build firm, D&B Elite collaborates with many architecture firms, he added.
The firm serves the Lehigh Valley market from its Berks office and serves clients in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties as well as parts of New Jersey.
Right now, the company has 26 active projects in a variety of sizes from custom homes to smaller projects, Gring said.
