The taps were flowing, the grills were hot, the music was making all of us move AND the sun was shining this year (on BOTH days…possibly a Beerfest first!) for 2022’s King of Prussia Beerfest on October 6 and 8! We welcomed almost 3,000 people over the course of 2-days for drinking, eating, dancing, games and just generally having a great time.
The event was presented by longtime sponsors Budget Maintenance and included some exciting firsts, including the introduction of Retail Row, a shopping area for local vendors to set up and sell their goods. King’s Plate also saw an expansion of our cocktail and non-beer offerings, including canned cocktails that were a big hit! The Main Event brought a lot of familiar faces in terms of brewers, as well as some brand-new brands that we were happy to sample. As always, the fun took place under beautiful tents with a magical outdoor beer garden outdoors in King of Prussia Mall’s parking lot.
Kings Plate also welcomed back food trucks to join in on our ultimate sampling night. From pizza fresh out the brick-oven to steak sliders, to ancient grain bowls, there was an incredible variety of food to sample. When all was said and done and everyone voted for their favorite dish using their Beerfest coins, Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar took home the King’s Plate for their incredible brussels sprout tacos, the clear crowd favorite!
