Join Davio’s King of Prussia on Tuesday, February 28th for a Guest Sommelier Event. Special guest and wine enthusiast, Nicoletta Nafi will guide guests through the wines of the Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona estate.
Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona estate has origins that date back to the 17th century and it still keeps its historical heritage in a building called “Palazzo” (Palace) that was built for Fabivs de Vecchis, Bishop of Montalcino and Abbot of Sant’Antimo Abbey.
Today the winery is not only turning heads with its scores and attention to detail, but is breaking the mold of being a one trick pony and producing some of the most affordable and polished Super Tuscans to date. From top to bottom the focus is on the vines and their terroir which is uniquely evident within each bottle.
Nicoletta Nafi is the Export Manager for the estate. She studied economics and has been with the company for about 10 years. She worked her way up from the tasting room and is often considered to be one of the most knowledgeable people working at the estate.
The Guest Sommelier event will take place on Tuesday, February 28th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Davio’s King of Prussia. Reservations are recommended by calling 610.337.4810.
